This is A brief History of the life and times of Josh Wheeler.  I was born in a small town called Arkadelphia, Arkansas. When I was two years old my Family moved to Columbus, Ohio and I lived there until I came to highland community college, In Highland, Ks. It was there that I met my girlfriend who just so happened to be from Atchison and in 2011 we moved here. I have been in Atchison ever since.

I am hoping to learn how to become a better more effective leader while learning from other leaders. I hope that our class project will be something that will better the lives of Atchison residents. If its fixing a sign, or painting apiece of art on a bridge. I want to make a difference. John C. Maxwell states, “Leadership is influence. Nothing more, nothing less.” and I couldn't agree more. I leader is someone who not only leads but teaches others to lead as well. 

 

The first picture is of my girlfriend and my dog. I chose this picture because she is the reason that I am still in Atchison. Also I think that Atchison is an active community If you drive around town you are bound to see someone jogging.

The Second picture is of my daughter Jada. She is swinging for the first time and is having a blast. I picked this picture because it was taken at Jackson park, which shows that there are plenty of activities for active families. It also shows my family. No matter where I end up in life I will always remember Atchison as where my journey began.

The last picture taken was from my event I picked this picture because is shows diversity and people helping each other. Atchison's biggest impact for me is its people. Everyone is friendly.
