Recap of last class

Last class we did the team building exercise with using pieces of spaghetti, some tape, string, and 1 marshmallow. Each team tried to build the tallest tower that could hold the marshmallow on top for more than 5 seconds. The first time we did it we were limited to 18 minutes. I feel that each team really had to think of a strategy for how they were going to make the base of the tower. At the end of the first time marshmallows were falling everywhere and only one tower stayed up. That tower was only 22 inches high. The second time we did it we only had 12 minutes but I feel that each team had a better understanding of how to actually work with the resources that we were given. Two of the three towers stayed up and the tallest reached about 29 inches. All in all I feel that this exercise was fun and it helped each one of us see how to work with people that were randomly picked before the exercise.
